Are you passionate about creating amazing experiences?  Are you interested in partnering with great national and global brands?  If so, Autajon is seeking a highly motivated, curious, detail-oriented and strategic Estimator/Purchasing Coordinator in our Nashua, New Hampshire location. This is your opportunity to be part of an industry leader in in printing, folding carton and packaging products. The Estimator/Purchasing Coordinator is responsible for the accuracy of estimating as it pertains to production jobs based of customer specifications as well as receiving and executing purchase orders into company based software and systems. The primary function is to prepare accurate cost estimates for the plant in an effort to drive new business that is profitable to the Company and attractive to he customers, with the end goal, of obtaining purchase orders. This position will also be responsible to drive initiatives for process and procedural changes within the work group that will assure an effective and efficient workflow.


  • Responsibility for accuracy of estimations orders entered into the software system.
  • Be able to receive, enter, and maintain an open purchase order report within the software system.
  • Assist and prepare comprehensive reports as requested by both the Estimations and Purchasing Departments.
  • Must be comfortable as acting lead as needed for the Estimations or Purchasing Departments.
  • Communicates daily with both the Sales and Production Teams to assure accurate communications regarding orders, in an effort to meet customer requirements and plant capabilities.
  • Assure prompt response and resolution to common inquiries or complaints from customers, employees, regulatory agencies, or other members from the Autajon Packaging Group.
  • Comfortable assisting with the purchase of materials in order to ensure proper inventory levels to meet production needs.
  • Comfortable negotiating with vendors and suppliers with intent to provide the plant with proper inventory levels, quality of product and saving as needed.
  • Perform other tasks as needed in support of manufacturing operations, customer service, stakeholders, vendors, and suppliers.


  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience required.
  • Minimum of 2 years in a related Estimating/Purchasing function role in the folding carton industry.
  • Must have excellent computer skills –MS Office (Excel, Word, Power-Point and Outlook) and the ability to learn Autajon's computer systems.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • In-depth knowledge of the folding carton manufacturing process.
  • Attention to detail and problem solving skills.
  • Must have excellent Mathematical skills.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, along with the ability to prioritize work.
  • Epicor/ AX experience is a plus.
