Mission

The Role: Autajon Packaging is seeking an experienced and dynamic Quality Assurance Technician at our Cultech, Inc. location in South Plainfield, NJ to be responsible for periodically auditing the output quality of the production equipment. This includes the printing presses, converting processes, finishing and sorting areas. The Quality Assurance Technician is also responsible for conducting "in process" and or "final certification" of production lots prior to shipping to ensure the item meets our quality objectives along with the customer's specifications. The primary goal of this position is to improve quality awareness through the production process and customer satisfaction through the delivery of a quality product.

What is the Vision, Strategy and Leadership needs?

  • Conduct in process checks and ensure specific tests based on customer requirements are completed. 
  • Final verification of completed production lots.
  • Immediate communication and reporting  of quality performance issues to employees and management team as necessary. 
  • Working as part of the Autajon Packaging team to improve quality standards. 
  • Assist with other duties and department coverage as needed. 


Profil

Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED.
  • 2+ years of experience in the packaging industry, preferably in Quality.
  • Intermediate levels of English - Verbal and Written. 
  • Basic Math skills are required.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment 
  • Excellent and organizational and analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment. 
  • Must be able to comprehend and follow all job procedures and safety protocols.
